VICIdial Carrier Setup - Step by Step
We love our VICIdial users! In fact, 80% of our clients use VICIdial and also love how easy it is to get started with Third Rock Telecom.

After you have signed up for VoIP through our portal by clicking GET VOIP and received an email confirmation from our system, you will then have everything you need to begin dialing and sending traffic. Please follow the steps below to setup Third Rock Telecom as your carrier. If this process is out of your area of expertise or out of your area of interest then please contact your VICIdial tech and direct them to this page.
STEP 1 - Protecting Yourself
Take all necessary measures to ensure that your system is protected from outside attacks. The safest way to accomplish this it to have an IP whitelist. Therefore, the only people (IP addresses) that have access to your dialer are those you give access to, such as your carrier, or the locations you will be monitoring and accessing the server. If you need help setting this up please reach out to us so we can guide you through the process.

With this being said, within our confirmation emails you will have the IP where to point traffic to. This IP needs to be whitelisted if this is the security protocol you have in place.
STEP 2 - Add Third Rock Telecom As Your Carrier For Outbound
Open up you VICIdial web interface and login with your "6666" user.

Go to Admin > Carriers > Add A New Carrier
